Blood Python Article...
I started talking about this article on another thread tonight and thought that it would be fun to talk about it in it's own thread. The article is the titled "Blood Pythons: Past & Present" by Dave and Tracy Barker found in the November 2007 edition Reptiles magazine. Anyways, lets talk about it here.
I can start. The thing I loved best about it was that it focused on dispelling untruths, explaining the species and expounding on there history in the pet trade.
So lets have some replies and all talk about it. I think this could be fun.

Re: Blood Python Article...
It is started in paragraph two and then continued on page 54 under the heading "The Blood Python Renaissance". "But the biggest change contributing to their rising popularity is a change of attitued. It turns out that blood pythons can be nice, docile, sweet-tempered pets." Then it continues by saying "we believe the following changes in the origins of today's captive blood pythons account for their new and improved attitudes." That is probably my favorite part.
It seems you are focusing more on the pictures and I on the text. Nothing wrong with that. They are some great looking snakes.

Re: Blood Python Article...
I swear I was going to make a thread about this too LOL I thought it was an interesting article. I like the disposition part. I made sense. I suggest alot of people read that if they want to get into Bloods.

Thanks Luker3232 and Ophiophilia for responding. I agree with you Ophiophilia, I would highly recommend that it be read before you purchase a Blood. So far good comments. Lets get some more...
