Well it is a boy named Blade, and yes, it has mites!!! How do you get rid of them? [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_confused.gif[/img] There driving me crazy! I have been using T-rex bio-mite but they still keep coming!!! Someone I know said that they just washed their royal when it got mite, should I do this?

As you're in the UK.
If you have no qualms about using pesticides, go to the vet and see if you can persuade him to let you have Frontline.
DONT BE TEMPTED TO USE VAPONA NOPEST STRIPS IN YOUR VIVS- they neurologically damaged our young boa and we had to have her euthanized.
We sometimes find mites, tiny black moving insects, on newly acquired snakes. Frontline disposed of them within 1 or 2 treatments. It's quite expensive.

there is another pesticide, NEGUVON, i use it with some colubrids i caught, also, you wont get rid of the mites if you only treat the snake....all its enviroment (enclosure, items and even the room) must be treated
