Rat rack question - water bottles or auto watering system??

Hey guys,
I've been working on making a rat rack over the past few days. I now come to a decision: do I go with water bottles or an automatic watering system?

My last rat rack used water bottles and I probably replaced each one at least once due to them chewing through the bottles. If I go with a auto watering system I could fit one more tub on the rack as well (6 to 7)...

Is the initial higher cost of the parts for the watering system really worth it??

It's really up to you whether you want to fill up water bottles everyday (or however often you want to). You can buy glass water bottles to prevent the chewing. They are a little more expensive, but you won't have to replace them.

With a watering system you run the risk of it clogging or something going wrong and drowning your rats.
