What is the average size of an adult male kahl albino? I feed mine an adult mouse every week or so and he is currently 6 months old

To answer your question:

and you might want to bump up to rats soon, you'll see better growth and you'll need to do it eventually anyways (unless you wanna feed a 6 foot snake 8-10 mice a feeding )

Re: Size of an adult male kahl albino?
I believe it's how they are feed even thought everyone here says no. It genetic. I'm sure that has something to do with it. Every breeder I've talked to said they feed slow and it keeps them small. I'm no expert but just Listen to both sides of a story. I feed every other week.

Re: Size of an adult male kahl albino?
I have read that sticky before and I realize that there are dwarf locales etc. I am curious if Kahl's are typically any different than a typical columbian BCI and if some people could report how big their adults are.

Re: Size of an adult male kahl albino?
I have found that some "morphs" stay a bit smaller than "normals" - that said, I have a tiny hypo female (Sheva at just over 6 foot), and Janet, a big hypo at almost 8 feet. I have a huge female albino, Sydney, but Brad is small little thing (but he's young yet). It's all up to you to make sure that the snake grows to it's optimal potential without starving it into staying small, or powerfeeding it into being a slug. At six months old, Bandit, is also on adult mice/rat pups. So, I'd say that you're probably right on. As far as the "rats are better" - that's all up to opinion. I like to feed mice when they're still small, cause the mice have higher quantities of calcium - but again, that's just something I've decided to do with my snakes (with the advice of my vet).
