Question Size of an average female red tail boa?

Does anyone know the average size of a female red tail boa, I have had mine for about 1 to 2 years now and I just took it to the vet. When I bought it I was told that he was a male, but after visiting the vet I was informed that he was actually a she. Also the vet told me that she was a little small for her age, I have been feeding her about every two weeks and sometimes a little longer, but they were good size food items. But I just want to know about how big she will get and also what is the normal life span?. Thanks!
Chris.

A normal, female RTB will grow to about 8 or 9 feet. It can live up to 20+ years with proper care.

I'll say. It all depends if you got a George Jefferson or a Shaquile O'Niel. But yea, more or less.

I would of said up to 12ft ish for a female and 9ft ish for a male and life span of over 20yrs if looked after, though they never stop growing there growth rate just slows right down and it apears they have stopped when infact they havent.
Saying that like people there all individuals and depending on there care and feeding ect all will differ. How tall do people grow? 4ft-5ft-6ft?

The average size for a female boa is about 8' foot but remember that snakes grow there entire life. I have a female that is ten foot and still growing.

Most of my male BCI boas are 6 to 8 feet and my females are 7' to 9' +.
My oldest boa I have now is 13 to 14 years old and she is over 9' long and is 60 lb.
My first boa I ever had was 18 years old, 9'+ and 25 lb. when she died in 1996. I had her for her entire life, I still miss her today. Here are some pictures of my boas.

This is the 60 lb female.

This is a 7' long 30 lb male and about 9 yr. old.

This is Big Mama she is 12 yr.old, 8' long and 30 lb.

This is Zoe she is 8' long and 35 lb.

This is Mr-T he was 5 years old and 12 lb in this picture.

This a Sandy she is 5 years old and 6'+ and about 15 lb in this pic.

Take care
Tom

i think RTB has the best temperment. i have had 5 and i was only bitten once and that is because i talked right in ones face and blew out hot air. it was my first bite and it was right in the face. it was gone by morning and i wasnt even sure i was bit when bitten. but she was only about 2 feet. with the experience i have had with them they seem to be less docile when young. i could be wrong though.
