Amazon babies born 9-9-07
Well since there were a few other recent posts about Amazons, I figured I'd post pics of my first clutch of ammies.
My six year old Amazon that I bought from Brett (JuliusSqueezer) waaaay back in 2001 gave birth to her first clutch and my first successful breeding attempt. She gave me 10 babies and no slugs or dead. The break down is 5 yellows, 3 "Halloween" gardens, and 2 reds. Here's a pic of some of them in the cage:
Here's some shots after I took them out and cleaned them up
Here's a link to my photobucket account if you want to see the individual pics. And there's also an add in the classified section...

LOL! Your right I did, here it is: vexaluntil/Amazon babies - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
I really should get updated pics. They have all shed twice now and are starting to brighten up. The patternless garden looks really neat. He's got an amazing orangy-brown belly and reddish-green sides.

Re: Amazon babies born 9-9-07
Yea I keep bouncing back and forth wondering whether I should keep the patternless garden. I know he'll more than likely turn out to be grayish with some white scales... The red female I'm definitely keeping cause well as I said earlier I heart red ammies! And the other red female sold quickly.

Re: Amazon babies born 9-9-07
Thanks Aaron. I don't know if I'll breed them again this year. I still have babies and found that they didn't sell as quickly as I thought they would.

Re: Amazon babies born 9-9-07
hey guys, I was gonna start a new thread about this but it kinda fits here so if you dont mind, what is an aveage price for baby ATB's? A local breeder I know has some unsexed ATB's (yellow and red i think, but i could be wrong), and he is asking $75 a piece for them. good deal or what? I know most GTP's go for like $400 anyway so I was a little thrown by the price. but the rest of his prices are average, maybe slightly low. (ie, suri x hogg $75 - $125) thanks guys/gals
